Back2basix has teamed up with the Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatics to bring you the best summer basketball camp experience for your child. We call our camp, "The Sky's the Limit" because we believe that each child has the potential to exceed all of our expectations.

With the right development, every child can reach their full potential. That potential carries over from sports to business and personal relationships. I am living proof of that.

We at Back2Basix believe that our camp is positioned to provide our participants the fundamental skills to raise their game. If your child is going to play in a league, middle school, or high school this fall you will not want them to miss the opportunity to improve their basketball IQ.

Mentoring
Lunch time is spent constructively during Back2Basix Summer Camps. We use this time to mentor the student athlete by having invited guest speakers. Past speakers include:

Devona Allgood, former North Mecklenburg High School Standout
and now a Princeton University Student Athlete

Brandon Curry, former Hopewell Standout
and now a incoming freshman student athlete at Harvard University

Rafael Hernandez, Business Systems Consultant
and former Davidson College Basketball Student Athlete

Jennifer Smoot, Project Manager

Dr. Susan Aydin, Chiropractor

One of the themes was titled "Plan B". This was implemented to get the kids thought process on life outside of athletics. The guest speakers spoke about life after sports because sports will come to an end one day and when that day comes what will they do. Each speaker stressed the importance of a good education. Back2Basix believes that by bringing in the invited guest that the student athlete will realize that life is more than playing sports.
Back2Basix also realizes that not every kid will go to college but they still have opportunities by studying for a trade and having your own business whether it is small or large. The student athletes at Back2Basix now realize that small businesses keep this economy running and that a small business owner will make just as much of a positive effect in society as the large business owner.
Back2Basix realizes that we can not influence every student athlete but if we can make a difference in one student athletes life, that is an intrensic reward that will always keep us motivated to make a difference in the community of student athletes.
